A full year of blood and tears has passed for Adrian Ring. As the dead remain hateful, the living are more desperate than ever winter approaches and supplies are dwindling. Meanwhile, the conflict with the monsters at the Factory is reaching a boiling point.

But Adrian won't have to fight alone. Kevin and Michelle, his unwitting compatriots in the scheme to save the world, are following signs and portents to make their way to a hero they don't yet know.

To meet them, Adrian will have to weather treachery, starvation, violent attacks… and perhaps worst of all, the temptation of an easy way out.

The Trinity, the seventh book of Adrian's Undead Diary, splits the world wide open. The inner workings of good and evil, and what happened on 'that day' in Washington D.C, will finally be revealed.

The endgame begins.

The Trinity contains Adrian's diary entries from September 2nd, 2011 to December 22nd, 2011. It's also the home for the side fictions White Blood Cell, The Factory, Dreams of a Dying Man, The Road to Bastion, and A Stranger Among Us.

The Trinity Adrian Undead Diary Book 7 eBook Chris Philbrook

A year has passed since Adrian unknowingly stepped into the roll he now finds himself in. He never wanted to be a savior. He never wanted to be a hero. He just wanted to survive. And survive he has, albeit by the skin of his teeth more often than not.

That isn't changing anytime soon...

Along our journey with Adrian, many hints have been given foreshadowing what is to come along other story lines that may or may not have anything to do with our gang at Bastion. Many of those start to come together in this volume as the depth of this story and Philbrook's genius really start to shine.

Packed with all the action, comedy, heartache and gore that you could ask for, this volume is a heck of a ride that any AUD fan is sure to enjoy!

The Trinity Adrian Undead Diary Book 7 eBook Chris Philbrook Reviews

Holy moly!! Stuff goes down in this book, I about had a heart attack but as always, a great read/listen. This book has alot of the toe pushing kind of action and the whole waiting to see who the traitor is was fun; I deduced correctly and was fist pumping in the car yelling "I knew it"!!! Got some funny looks but it was totally worth it, just like this book. It was nice to hear Abby`s POV too, team vagina for the win!!!
This book is great as are the others in the series. As I've made my way thru the AUD series, it's been difficult to await the release of the next book. You do need to begin reading the series with the first book, Dark Recollections, as the storyline continues to build. In between book releases, I've purchased and downloaded the audio copies so that I can listen to the books I've previously read. I'll miss the characters in AUD when the series finally ends. They've become like old friends, who's diary I'm reading.
Another great chapter in the Adrian's Undead Diary completed! This is my second time reading this (I read the whole thing online before). I'm reading things I didn't remember and reading those "aha I remember that" moments too. I'm torn though that I have finished this book. It means I am so close to the end. While I love an ending to a series that closes it up nicely I also mourn the fact that it is over. I can't wait until the last book comes out. I love Adrian and Abby and all the rest of them. Keep up the great work Chris!
The continuing drama, saga, time is amazing. The three are together and they are learning to bring humanity back, school and teaching is becoming an important part. Adrian ' s fear after being shot and his attempt to move on is a huge challenge for him. Like the rest in this series, it is incredibly had to put down. Thanks Chris philbrook for keeping me up at night. Awesome read.
This is book 7 in this series and the story just keeps getting better and better! Of course, by this point, the characters have become like family to me and I eagerly read every last word of their adventures and mishaps. There are some unexpected plot twists here (at least they were unexpected to me!) but they just added more meat to the story. I'm eager to get to the next volume, though on the other hand, I really don't want the story to end!!
The only way to describe this amazing series is to compare it to baking a cake. Each book has been like an ingredient..and as each is added to the previous your cake/the story is coming together more and more.
This installment brings the Trinity together, but will it be too late for one of them? Will this journey be for nothing? Chris Philbrook is amazing! His style of writing makes his characters and their surroundings so real that it's like you are there..fighting alongside Adrian...crying and laughing with him. Thank you Chris for your awesome talent!!!!
This is a longer review than I usually give but since there aren't many reviews yet, I wanted to be thorough.

Another exciting installment! Adrian's life in the ZA is an adrenalin rushing, emotional ride fueled by zombies (terrifying, and sometimes atypical undead) and Adrian & his crew of survivors occupy his compound & his town. His fellow survivors & other members of the trinity are equally as interesting but Adrian & Abby are by far the most live characters in this whole series.

Adrian is somewhat silly & adolescent (man/boy comes to mind lol) but he is a strong fighter & a caring man that has taken on the responsibility for a group of survivors & thus far he has done a good job of protecting them, at a school that he has fortified to defend against both zombie & human foe. I mentioned Adrian & Abby as the strongest characters, most "live" but all the characters are fleshed out well from Patty, to Mike, to Kevin, his Army buddy & the rest of the characters we encounter in the story. They all capture you and keep you interested in the next chapter/book of the series - to the point that you want to know what happens to them next. Mr. Philbrook has a great imagination & I've enjoyed all the AUD books. There is a great amount of mystery in them, although it is a zombie apocalypse series. Don't expect the typical cookie-cutter zombie story! It is what predominately sets this series apart from others, I think. There is mystery, comedy, adventure & drama along with the zombie horror, of course. I usually stop at 3 series books, I'm bored by then. Not this one, I am still interested in "my friends in peril" after book seven! Wow!

I gave this book four starts instead of my usual five because there were more mistakes than are usual, not sure if the author's editor changed or what happened but it wasn't awful or too distracting, just noticeable more than usual. Also notable, near the end there was some stark redundancy, repeating scenes that had already been described. The descriptions were so close, I almost thought something was wrong with my kindle copy but a few words were changed or added here and there, plus one additional scene inserted, so I think it was a combination of trying to add length to the story & also to insert that additional event in a little more detail but it is confusing how it is done & why. Soon enough you read past it, skip over some of it or just scratch your head but it was distracting for a short time. Then you move on to the meat of the story or like I did, pause & wonder why those segments were repeated. The ending is as cliffhanging as always, so I am waiting patiently for the next book, so that should tell you it wasn't a huge deal though. I should add here that even though this is a series that doesn't end the story on the last page (so far), the characters & plot engage you So much that you WILL want to get the next book to continue the adventure. Chris Philbrook writes these books much faster than most series authors I've read, so the wait won't be too excruciatingly long. I don't know how he does it & still they are so good but I'm glad he does! I will be sad when the series comes to an final culmination but I know eventually there needs to be a completeness & am confidant we will be wowed to a satisfying conclusion.
